Have you ever heard of the nation of Islam? The nation of Islam is a program for people who want to become Muslim. Malcolm X was one of them. Malcolm X is a man who was born very poor but grew up and became a strong leader in the Nation of Islam. Malcolm was sent to prison for 10 years for robbing people! People should learn about this person because he was a black person helping to bring more people to the nation of Islam. He also tried to give blacks the same right as whites. Malcom X was shot when he was 49 while he was making a speech to get more people to the nation of Islam.
