This book is descriptive.  It tells a lot of details about the cat, Socks.  The main character, Socks, is interesting because he plays with a new born baby in the family.  One of Socks main problems is that his human mom and dad are paying more attention to the baby and not to Socks.  If you like cats and families, then this is a good book for you.

Superfudge  is a very silly and good book.  The main character is Peter.  He lives in N.Y.C.  He has a brother named Fudge and a baby sister.  Peter needs to learn how to get along with his little brother Fudge.  Peter thinks his brother is annoying.  For example, Fudge hid their little sister in the closet while they were playing hide and seek. Everyone was really worried, but Fudge never admitted that she was in the closet. They found her later in the closet, asleep. If you like funny books or if you have a brother or sister you will love this book.

Sophie the Sweetheart is a fantastic book because it involves some secrets. Sophie is a great girl but she does have a little temper. Sophie has to do a project with a partner, and her partner is her worst enemy. When Sophie wants to match- make her teacher there’s also some problems with that too .I recommend  this book to someone who likes secret letters.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jakob M.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid  is an exciting  book to read. It was funny when Gregs brother put a cupcake  in his video game . Greg is a  really funny person . He likes to make people laugh.Greg was nervous when he had to go on stage  with his friend in a magic show. He made a mistake but it became a comedy show and it turned  out well. This is a  good book for someone who likes the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

In this book, Mallory goes to a new school, and she thinks it will be very embarrassing with her mom as the new music teacher.  Mallory is just a girl that had a perfect life until she moves to Fern Falls Elementary.  One problem Mallory tries to overcome is the music performance called the Fall Festival and her being an eggplant.  If you're into stories that involve festivals or plays, then this is the book for you.

Double Fudge is a very funny book. Peter is very frustrated. He is frustrated because his little brother Fudge swallowed Peter's pet turtle. The problem that Peter has is not being able to get away from his cousins Flora and Fauna. If you like reading books about kids who meet family members that they have never met before you should read this book.

Have you ever wanted to climb Mt. Everest? Dominic Alexis made the word Everest by finding the letters under the caps of Summit Athletic Fuel and the inside wrappers of Summit Energy Bars. This gave him a chance to climb Mt. Everest. Dominic Alexis is a thirteen year old who is very good at rock climbing. He has many problems. One of them is that he has to stay fit to climb Mt. Everest. He needs to work out 6 hours a week to stay fit, but he is only 13 and he has a tiny chance of making the team. Another problem is that there are 20 climbers all fighting for four spots. I would recommend this book to someone who would like to climb Mt. Everest. If you read the other two books in the series you will get to know if he makes the Everest team.

Dive: The Discovery is an interesting book about teenagers that come to the Caribbean to dive. Star is handicapped but she is still a good swimmer. Star needs to overcome the fact that Cutter and his crew are not letting them dive a lot. I recommend Dive: The Discovery to someone that likes a book about diving.

Lacrosse Face Off is a descriptive book. The main character is sporty because he plays fun sports that people like. He never gives up on them. The problem the main character needs to overcome is getting better at lacrosse. I would recommend this book because it was exciting. Island is an exciting book. The main characters are Luke, Will, Ian, J.J., Lyssa, and Charla. They are children who were sent on a trip on a boat that sinks. They need to overcome the fact that they are shipwrecked on a deserted island. I recommend this book to people who like survival stories.

Junie B. Jones and That Meanie Jim's Birthday, is a very surprising book because every time you make an inference you are probably wrong. The main character Junie B. is very sensitive because she overreacts when she is not invited to a birthday party. Junie B. needs to overcome her sad feelings because she wasn't invited. I recommend this book to people who can relate to Junie B. and have not been invited to a birthday party that other people been.

This book is sad and exciting. It is sad because Laura loses a son. It is exciting because you don't know when things are going to happen. The main character is Laura, and she gets worried a lot about her daughter Rose. She is very helpful. One problem the main character needs to overcome is that Laura does not want to marry a farmer, but loves a farmer named Almanzo. This book is for people that like surprises.

Steve is a big bully so he sits on Fred's lunch. Freddy gets super mad at Steve, so he tries to get back at him. Freddy is a weird boy and he likes sharks. He doesn't know how to get past a bully. Freddy needs to not be afraid of a bully. He needs to stand up to them! I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to stand up to bullies.

My book was very interesting. It it is full of details about life long ago. The main character in my book loves to listen to her father's stories, and she can be very naughty sometimes. The main character has a sister who has golden hair, but lots of people think blond hair is prettier than brown. So she has to overcome being jealous. Even if most people like blond hair better than brown, some people think brown hair is prettier than blond. I think if people like to read about people who lived a long time ago, then they should read this book.

Freckle Juice is a realistic book, but it is amusing because the characters make crazy choices. Andrew Marcus is determined to get freckles no matter what it takes.
