The Gingerbread Man is a folktale. I think it was a funny story because how he kept saying "You can't catch me" to who ever he was talking to. This story is silly. It's silly because The Gingerbread Man jumped out of the oven and everyone knows that can't happen in real life. The lesson in this story is to never brag or to think your the best because everyone is the best equally.
