Westward to home was told by a boy around my age. He was an excellent story teller. The story takes place in the mid 1800s. At this time, people were serching for a new place to live in the west. The character needs to overcome being scared . He was scared of the wild animals on the trail. He was also scared of the big storms that they didn"t have in the east. I think this was an interesting book because it was writen from the boys diary about his travels from the east to the west.
