Kit's Surprise is an exiting story. Kit thinks Christmas is ruined until she discovers a sketchpad in her bag. She begins to write in the book every day. This story takes place in 1934, during the Great Depression. One of the main problems in this story is the Great Depression. Kit is about to lose her home.To make money Kit runs errands for her Uncle Hendrick. I recommend this book to any one who likes a story that will keep them hooked.
