The Mask of the Maliban is fantastic because it has a lot of magic. Eric wears glasses and has some interesting friends. His friends are Neal and Julie. In the beginning he has blue sparks out of his hands while he is being chased by green birds. If you like magical books you should read The Mask of the Maliban.
