This book is an enjoyable, fun story. Joy is on a mission to save three magic shells: a spiral shell, a conch shell, and a scallop shell. The fairies are saving Rainspell Island so that Rachel and Kirsty can have a good vacation. Some examples of make believe are fairies, Jack Frost, goblins, and magic objects. This makes it a fantasy book full of adventure!
